Requested Time Off Creates Large Hurdles for Human Resource Managers

Fentin will be leading a master class on advanced skills for managing requested time off from work for human resource managers. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations will remain one of the most challenging hurdles for human resource departments to overcome this year. The good news is that this master class will help employers and human resource professionals master management responsibilities to avoid costly litigation penalties.

This intensive day-long workshop will provide employers and human resource managers with the right tools and information to maneuver intermittent leave, employee performance and much more. The rigorous course will also qualify human resource professionals for up to 6.25 recertification credit hours through the HR Certification Institute.

The workshop will include information discussing:

A resident of Conway, Attorney Fentin joined Skoler, Abbott and Presser, P.C., in 1999 after practicing for several years with the Labor and Employment department of a large Hartford law firm; she was made a partner of the firm in 2004.
