Massachusetts’ New Sick Leave Law    

Beginning July 1, Massachusetts employers must provide sick leave to their employees, including part-time, per diem, and temporary workers. And for those employers with more than 10 employees, that sick leave must be paid leave. We hope that the Attorney General will issue regulations on this new law, but even before those regulations are issued, employers need to consider the many ways that this statute may affect their employee policies and HR practices.
